Two NSW Planit offices, Lennox Head and Kingscliff have been selected as finalists for Regional NSW Business Awards along with Civil Engineer Jake Bentley, who is in the running for one of the most prestigious individual awards on offer.

Jake’s work as an engineer earned him a gong as one of just seven finalists to be named as the most outstanding employee in the Northern Rivers area.

The Lennox office team has been nominated as a finalist for the Excellence in Business Award.

The Kingscliff office team has been nominated as one of just four finalists for the Business and Professional Service Award.

All three awards will be announced at the Northern Rivers Regional Presentation on Saturday 23 October.

The winners will then compete for the 2021 NSW State Business Awards to be presented in November.

“Business NSW is delighted to recognise Planit Consulting as a Finalist in Business & Professional Services, Outstanding Employee and Excellence in Business Categories in the 2021 Northern Rivers Business Awards,” said Jane Laverty, Regional Manager Business NSW Northern Rivers.

“The team at Planit Consulting should be so very proud of their achievements.

“This recognition of their continued high level of strategic service offering of concept to construction advice to Government and the private sector is well deserved.”

Planit Director, Ben Gohl said “We’re thrilled to see two of our NSW offices nominated as finalists in the Northern Rivers Business Awards,”

“It’s a reflection of the dedication Planit has put into critical projects for both areas and the work carried out across a number of departments to ensure their success.

“I’d also like to congratulate Jake on his personal nomination. It is well-earned recognition for the hours of work and commitment he puts into his work.

“We wish all involved in the nominated offices, and Jake, all the best and we will be tuned in on October 23 when the awards are announced.”

Winners of the Northern Rivers Business Awards will become finalists at the State Business Awards on Friday 26 November 2021.
