‘Elegance’ High rise development

The Gold Coast’s iconic skyline is growing and Planit is instrumental in achieving planning approval for a number of new high rises on the ‘glitter strip’.

This spur in high rise activity has been in part triggered by the introduction and planned extension of light rail through the city. Key centres of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach have seen caps on building heights removed to promote transit-oriented development.

With height limitations removed, the towers have had to demonstrate high architectural and urban design outcomes.

The ‘Elegance’ twin 50 and 45 tower project opposite Pacific Fair accommodating up to 536 apartments is one example of these new mixed-use high-rise developments which will contribute to the skyline.

This project will add significantly to the urban streetscape and renewal of this former medium density and up to 7 storey height area.
